Does my Girl Scout need to attend the Zoom meetings?

No. The Zoom meetings are an enhancement. We think Girl Scouts should be outside as much as possible, so if your Girl Scout is compelled to go outside and play, instead of being inside with a screen, we say, "YES!"

Does my Girl Scout need to do Zoom session for their age range?

No! For Theme Channels 1, 2, & 3, the content and supplies used are the same. The way the activity is taught will be geared for the age range that is indicated, but you can decide which sessions work for your family.  Theme Channel 4 is designed to serve all-ages. 

What if I have more than one Girl Scout? How can we participate?

Please decide what works best for your family. It may be best for the Girl Scouts to be in the same meeting together or in two different meetings at the same time.

Why is it important that I see the secret code on the Participant Zoom Links Page?
Why do we need a gmail  or a non-gmail Google Account?

*** If you are planning on having someone OTHER than your registered and confirmed email addresses logging in to see the codes, please tell us now, so that we can resolve any possible errors before the day of the event.*** 

Oftentimes, we are emailed Zoom Links, and we just click the Zoom Link and are brought automatically through the #InternetMagic to the correct Zoom Meeting. This usually works because there is a small number of simultaneous Meetings. 

By contrast -- we have 4 sessions with 4 meetings at the same time - and 3 additional sessions where we are all together. This makes for a cumbersome email with 11 sets of Zoom Codes, and if any of them get compromised and we need to change them, that's a whole other email.

Most people gave us a gmail address upon registration (Thank you!), and we are having to follow up with a remarkably small number of people (Yay!) to make sure they are all set to go!

Note to Gmail Users: 100% of the problems seeing the secret code have been resolved by using a computer instead of a phone!

Yes! After the event you will be notified how to access the recordings.
